We are pleased to welcome Marion Fulker AM as our Western Australia State Chair.
Marion, who has significantly contributed to Perth's economic and cultural development, will offer strategic advice on educating Western Australians about the benefits of salary packaging and novated leasing by connecting government, businesses, and workers to Smart's services.
Mrs Fulker will be helping businesses, government and working Western Australians to ease cost of living pressures by getting the most out of salary packaging through Smart's platforms.
"I see firsthand the challenging economic conditions faced by households in our state," said Mrs Fulker. "I'm looking forward to helping more Western Australians be able to stretch their pay packets further as families battle high interest rates, rising petrol prices and increased cost of living pressures.
"Employees have these benefits available to them, and I’ll be working hard to make sure as many people and their employers know the savings available."
Smart already provides these services to more than 40,000 Western Australians. Smartgroup Chief Customer Officer Bianca Bates said, "Marion has been instrumental in spearheading economic growth strategies during her time as CEO for Committee for Perth, and she understands the financial pressures some of the Western Australian community are experiencing."
"Salary packaging and novated leasing are becoming increasingly relevant as people seek to unlock more of their pay to reduce the cost of living," said Ms Bates.
Mrs Fulker has extensive board, executive, and governance experience and has been recognised with an Order of Australia for services in infrastructure development and urban planning. She is currently Chair of Perth Zoo and Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Western Australia.
