Giant Steps Australia Ltd

Work Together - Connecting Autistic Adults with Skills and Opportunity
Work Together is a vocational education and training program designed for profoundly autistic adults with complex needs who face long term exclusion from employment. Supporting 60 participants aged 18 to 37, the program builds practical skills that open pathways to meaningful work while strengthening independence, economic participation, and wellbeing. By creating functional jobs, participants are empowered to contribute to the wider community and bring genuine value to partner organisations.

MacKillop Family Services

Nourishing Hope
The Bittersweet initiative provides a hands-on learning experience to deliver an education that engages students to complete Year 12 and leave school with the skills and knowledge to continue further training or be workplace ready. It increases their chance to secure the same post-school jobs as their peers leaving mainstream education, rather than be confined to assisted workplace environments, or accepting lowly paid, insecure casual positions.

It also provides the opportunity for students to receive a standard, liveable wage that enables them to build financial security and stability.

Meals for the Mob for Yarrabah PCYC: Full Bellies, Strong Futures
Through Meals for the Mob, SecondBite, in partnership with PCYC Yarrabah, proposes to use FareShare’s nutritious meals as a catalyst to nourish and re-engage young people. This will combat the adverse physical and mental health impacts of food insecurity, while also supporting wider social and community wellbeing programs delivered in Yarrabah to address youth disengagement. By ensuring young people have reliable access to healthy, comforting food, the project aims to strengthen protective factors such as school engagement, community connection, and resilience.

Teen Life Skills Workshops (TLS)
The Pyjama Foundation offers young people in the TLS Program workshops that enhance employability and offer unique and valuable experiences to broaden the young people’s understandings of possible career paths and future outcomes. 

These workshops and resources will empower young people in their program to make sound decisions, learn invaluable life skills, and upskill to broaden future employment opportunities.

Mornington Peninsula and Western Port Biosphere Reserve Foundation

Western Port Koala Corridor Project
The Koala Corridor Project is a biodiversity conservation initiative launched by the Biosphere Foundation in partnership with Moonlit Sanctuary. The aims of the project are to better understand the dynamics of the local koala population, through genetic research, and to ensure that koalas, and all other wildlife, have safe dispersal routes across the landscape via biolinks as they are commonly known.

Southern Regional Natural Resource Management (NRM South)

Rivers to Ramsar - Improving wetland health at Pitt Water-Orielton Lagoon
NRM South is seeking funding for a restoration project at Frogmore Creek, a tributary of the Ramsar-listed Orielton Lagoon in southeast lutruwita/Tasmania. The project will remove African boxthorn, a declared noxious weed, from up to three hectares of riparian land and threatened temperate saltmarsh ecological community and important blue carbon ecosystem. This is an on-ground focused project, and actions include ~500m of fencing to control access and protect the site from trampling, and revegetation with locally sourced native plants.

Specialist ICU Tank for Marine Turtle Rehabilitation
By combining cutting-edge clinical design with sustainable operation, this project will improve survival outcomes for sea turtles, enhance ecosystem resilience, and establish a long-lasting, low-emission model for wildlife rehabilitation infrastructure in Australia. The tanks will remain a core asset of the hospital for years to come, delivering lasting benefits to both wildlife and the environment.

AMEB's First Nations Composers Program
The purpose of the AMEB First Nations Composers Program is to improve the representation of First Nations composers amongst pedagogical (educational) music resources. It is an important and positive opportunity to connect First Nations composers with a significant audience throughout the country and create a lasting impact for First Nations peoples.

BaptistCare Women's Services Darlinghurst - Hope and Wellness Program
The Hope and Wellness Program will deliver two-hour wellness sessions for disadvantaged and marginalised women in Darlinghurst and Woolloomooloo. It supports mental and emotional health by fostering self-expression, emotional regulation, and healing. It builds resilience and self-esteem, empowering individuals to overcome challenges and connect with others, while developing skills that enhances confidence, wellbeing, and economic participation.

BackTrack Youth Works

Healthy Futures Through Cooking
This project focuses on the benefits of healthy eating for BackTrack’s cohort of young people. It is designed to teach them how to prepare and cook nourishing meals, while immersing them in essential life skills around nutrition, food preparation, and budgeting. Weekly cooking lessons, overseen by a youth worker, will equip participants to prepare affordable, wholesome meals for themselves and their families.

Play therapy support for children affected by family and domestic violence
This project delivers specialised play therapy interventions for children aged 3–12 who have experienced domestic and family violence. Through trauma-informed play therapy, children are offered a safe and consistent environment where they can process their experiences, develop healthy coping strategies, and begin to recover from trauma.

Cancer Education Program in NSW
Camp Quality’s Cancer Education Program is an age-appropriate puppet show that travels to schools and Early Learning Centres (ELC’s) to bust the myths about cancer, teaching kids that cancer is not contagious, and how to be a good friend. The program shines light on the physical and mental health impact of the cancer journey, and the whole school becomes better equipped to deal with cancer in their families and community.

Eyes of Hope Ltd

Eyes of Hope: Branch Expansion NSW
Eyes of Hope seeks to expand the reach of the organisation beyond these four mobile centres with the purchase of eye care equipment. By expanding coverage area of free eye checks and glasses through a mobile clinic, this program aims to ensure that all members of society, regardless of housing status, have access to essential healthcare services.

KYDS Youth Development Service Incorporated

Space for Pride: Jupiter LGBTQ+ Training Initiative
This project seeks to promote diversity, inclusion, and mental health resilience among LGBTQ+ young people through dedicated educational initiatives within our service. The cornerstone of the project is a comprehensive seven-hour training program, consisting of one hour of eLearning and six hours of live webinar sessions delivered by ACON’s Pride Training. All six of Jupiter’s counsellors will participate in this training, which is designed to build their capacity, confidence, and competence in delivering inclusive and affirming practices.

Flying Doctor Mobile Dental Truck
RFDS Oral Health Services (Mobile Dental, Smile Squad and Dental Clinics) provides full service dental treatments to rural/remote Victorian towns inhibited by dental cost, cost of travel/time to visit a dentist. Dental care is often overlooked in vulnerable communities and seen as an unaffordable luxury or fear of dentists. Poor oral health is a gateway to diabetes and cardiovascular (CVD) diseases.

St John Ambulance Western Australia Ltd

Strong Hearts, Safe Hands: First Aid Focus for Mandurah schoolchildren
The aim of the FAF program is to educate school children (aged 4-17 years) about lifesaving first aid skills and empower them to take action in medical emergencies. FAF trainers will encourage students to share what they learn, and the health and wellbeing educational materials they receive, with their families and friends – thereby extending the reach of the program beyond the classroom and into the broader school community.

Andrew Russell Veteran Living Program (ARVL)
This four-week hands-on cooking and budgeting program will support veterans in Western Australia who are experiencing homelessness or are at risk of homelessness. Through small-group workshops led by a qualified facilitator, participants will gain the knowledge and skills to plan, shop for, and prepare nutritious meals on a limited budget. Sessions will cover kitchen safety, food hygiene, meal planning, creative use of affordable ingredients, and supermarket shopping strategies, with adaptations for varying cooking facilities such as microwaves or slow cookers.

Wright Place Women's Transitional Accommodation
Wright Place Women's Transitional Accommodation provides a safe, supportive, and healing environment for women experiencing or at risk of homelessness. The mission is to empower women through person-centred, trauma informed care that fosters dignity, community, and hope. By offering short term, culturally-responsive accommodation and intensive case management, the organisation supports women to rebuild their lives, strengthen their wellbeing, set and reach personal goals, and transition into long term, secure housing.

Crisis Relief Support for Vulnerable Children and Families
Treasure Boxes is a South Australian not-for-profit organisation dedicated to providing essential support to disadvantaged children. The organisation's services ensure that children have the resources they need to thrive, regardless of their circumstances. This funding will enable us to meet urgent demand, provide dignity and stability during periods of trauma, and strengthen pathways to recovery through timely, practical support.
